Requirements:

Experience (Minimum Experience Required - Number of years): -Minimum: IT project management in a medium to large enterprise.10-15 years. Demonstrated success in managing multi-million-dollar IT initiatives. Advantageous: Hospitality technology experience.
Overall Purpose of the Job: -This role, like all others in the group, must prioritise “making every guest a returning and referring guest”. Oversees the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of strategic IT projects and programmes across the organisation. Responsible for the successful implementation of complex initiatives such as ERP, POS, and PMS deployments, cloud migrations, cybersecurity enhancements, and digital transformation efforts. Ensures all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards—driving operational efficiency and elevating the guest experience. Applies best-practice project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) to align project execution with business goals, timelines, budgets, and compliance requirements. Develops and maintains strategic roadmaps that support long-term organisational objectives. People: -May hire new employees when authorised to do so, if applicable. Is required to issue verbal/written warnings when necessary and in the event of company policy having been violated. After consultation with the Divisional Director: HR/Group HR Manager, may terminate contracts of employment, where necessary and in the event of company policy having been gravely violated, if applicable.
Occassional Duties: -Carry out any duties as may be requested by the Divisional Director: Information Technology & Chief Financial Officer and in line with expertise and role.
Education (Formal Qualification Required): -Minimum: Grade 12. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. PMP (Project Management Professional). Computer literacy is essential particularly with a proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Certifications: PRINCE2/AgilePM/Scrum Master. ITIL Foundation – Preferred.
Financial: -The job requires the handling of money and the authorisation to dispense and deposit company funds and is therefore subject to a fraud and credit check.
Special Conditions: -Hybrid or on-site work arrangements depending on project requirements. May involve occasional travel for vendor coordination or site (hotel) implementation.
Knowledge: -Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, Asana, Trello). Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project methodologies. Understanding of enterprise systems, networks, databases, and cybersecurity.
