Requirements:
|
1. Purpose of Role
-This role is responsible for installing and reclaiming of pipes, ventilation fans, rails and drains within the mining operations.
2. Work of Role
-Effective PTV support
-Ensure high standard of safety in section
-Operation of all mechanical equipment/tools required for the role
-Effective barring of area
-Make sure that the construction area is safe; bar working place and install temporary support if necessary
-Clean construction area
-Install equipment and support in area, including preparation of material and making safe of equipment
-Installation and suspension of pipes as per standard
-Reclaim material as required/instructed
-Ensure that logistics can deliver material and clean box holes safely and effectively
-Installation of rails and switches
-Installation of drains
3. Qualifications
-Grade 10
-Pipes, Tracks & Salvage Certificate of Competency
4. Experience
-Minimum of 2 year’s relevant experience
5. Knowledge and Skills
-Passed PTV/S specific training module
