Education
-• Matric Certificate or Equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification
-• Higher certificate or National Diploma in Human Resources Management or equivalent NQF Level 5 Qualification
-Preferred • Bachelor's degree in human resources, organisation psychology, business administration, Law or a related field equivalent NQF Level 6/7 Qualification
Experience
-• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Talent Acquisition Specialist role in the Financial Services Sector
-• Proven success in recruiting for diverse roles across various levels.
-• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems
-• Strong understanding of various sourcing techniques, methodologies and tools.
-• Knowledge of labour laws and regulations i.e. BCEA, LRA and EEA
-• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
-• Sound understanding of employer branding best practices and how they influence talent attraction.
-• Proven ability of delivering superior candidate experience by providing timely updates and constructive feedback throughout the recruitment cycle
-Preferred • Stay updated on the latest recruitment technologies, using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and AI-driven tools
Position Description
-• Own the entire recruitment process from start to finish, ensuring a seamless experience through to successful onboarding
-• Contribute to the development of innovative talent acquisition strategies aimed at establishing a diverse talent pool to meet the evolving needs of the business.
-• Continuously refining the sourcing strategies to deliver exceptional results.
-• Proactively source high-quality candidates for diverse roles efficiently and within specified deadlines.
-• Works effectively with HR Team to deliver the best talent solutions.
-• Create a culture of ownership and accountability throughout the organisation in support of our values
-• Use and display interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels, motivate others and change people's attitudes when necessary
-• Ensure a rigorous pre-screening and engagement process with candidates to present the most qualified individuals to stakeholders.
-• Provide support to the Line managers in sourcing and acquiring candidates for vacant positions.
-• Regularly explore diverse sourcing platforms and methodologies to cultivate talent pools.
-• Ensure the recruitment of high-performing employees who contribute to organizational success and demonstrate strong retention rates
-• Establish and maintain a comprehensive candidate database.
-• Conduct research on job market trends, industry insights, and competitor practices to inform sourcing strategies
-• Employ creativity to discover new and effective methods for candidate attraction.
-• Identify optimal advertising channels for different job roles.
-• Managing hiring processes through electronic Applicant Tracking System
-• Schedule and conducts job interviews according to established processes
-• Compile weekly/monthly talent acquisition reports
-• Support Talent Acquisition and HR projects as required to meet hiring objectives and enable growth of the business
-• Keep abreast of best market practice and employment laws in South Africa.
-• Ensure all recruitment practices comply with Labour laws, regulations i.e. BCEA, LRA and EEA
-• Compliance with internal talent management policy
-• Adherence to company policies, processes and procedures
-• Align talent acquisition practices and activities with the company equity plans and targets.
-• Ensure compliance with data security and protection legalisation i.e. POPIA
-• Ensure a proactive and innovative approach to effectively address and overcome recruitment challenges.
-• Building relationship and rapport with candidates and maintaining relationships, ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining regular communication, timely feedback, and a seamless interview process.
-• Effectively convey the value proposition of job opportunities to candidates
-• Partner with hiring managers and department heads to understand staffing needs and ensure a smooth recruitment process
-• Transform our sourcing efforts by leveraging advanced search techniques across various platforms to consistently identify top-tier candidates and passive talent.
