Requirements
|
1. Work Output Description
- The Application Manager manages an effective, stable, innovative and forward-looking application architecture to meet current and future business needs in a responsible and cost-effective manner. Architects and defines a platform vision for specific business partners and develops a technical team that can implement and support it.
2. Minimum Requirements
- Degree or NQF7 Equivalent in IT Required
- ITIL Foundation Certification/Training Required
- Management Development Programme (MDP) and or NQF8 Equivalent in Business Leadership Required
- 10 Years IT Management Experience Required
3. Advantageous
- Business Analysis Certificate in IT
- 5 Years IT Management Experience in a Mining Environment
- 5 Years Systems Analysis/Development Experience
- 2 Years Experience in Digital Transformation Enablement
- 1 Year Experience S/4 HANA Migration
- 1 Year Experience in Business Spend Management Solutions
4. Skills and Knowledge
- Business Process Redesign/Analysis
- Business Relationship Management
- Continuous Improvement
- Digital Transformation Enablement
- Software Development Life Cycle Management (SDLC)
- Systems Integration
- IT Governance
- Project Management (PMBOK/PRINCE/AGILE)
- Deep technical knowledge in the areas of business applications and products
- Knowledge of relevant systems including: SAP (MM/PP/QM/PM/BW/SRM/SOLMAN/SD/GRC/BOBJ) MES, SQL Report Writing, Database Design, MS Azure and Time and Attendance
- Analytical and assessment skills essential
- Able to think logically
5. Physical/Legal Requirements
- Fit for Duty/Certificate of Fitness
- Clear Credit/Criminal Record
- Valid Driving Licence
