Requirements
|
1. Work Output Description
Accountable for the effective planning, coordination, and implementation of mining and all related activities to ensure the achievement of operational objectives associated with business and mining strategy. The role encompasses the establishment of operating efficiency from a current and future best practice perspective by incorporating productive planning, scheduling, resource allocation and performance management.
2. Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric or Equivalent
- Mine Overseer certificate of competency
- Blasting certificate of competency
- 2 - 3 Years’ experience as the Mine Overseer in Trackless
- 5 years’ experience as the Shift Supervisor in Trackless
3. Advantageous
- Degree / Diploma in Mining Engineering
- Mine Manager Certificate of Competency
3. Skills and Knowledge
- Computer Literacy (MS office, SAP System)
- Understanding of mine planning procedure
- Mine Health and Safety Act knowledge
- Teamwork or team building Skills
- Knowledge of HR systems and related legislation
5. Physical/Legal Requirements
- Obtain medical fitness certificate
- Clear Credit/Criminal Record
- Valid Driver’s License
