Requirements
|
1. Work Output Description
- The Warehouse and Logistics Officer manages the total warehouse process at the site to ensure the safekeeping of all stock items and the issuing and deliveries to end-users. The role covers the spectrum of receiving, binning, picking, issuing and distribution to the End-user. The Warehouse and Logistics officer is responsible for the safekeeping of materials and the elimination of shrinkage, as well as ensuring the efficient delivery of goods and inventory accuracy.
2. Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or NQF4 Equivalent Required
- Diploma or NQF6 Equivalent in Logistics or Commercial Required
- 3-5 Years Warehouse Managements Experience Required
- Any Experience in a Mining Environment Required
3. Advantageous
- Knowledge of Sandvik Parts
- Mechanized Mining Environment Experience
3. Skills and Knowledge
- MS Office (Outlook, Word. Excel, PowerPoint)
- Supervisory Skills
- Good Supply Chain knowledge
- Knowledge of Mine, Health and Safety Act
- Knowledge of Material Management Policies and Procedures
5. Physical/Legal Requirements
- Fit for Duty/Certificate of Fitness
- Clear Credit/Criminal Record
- Valid Driving Licence
