Requirements
|
1. Work Output Description
- The Process Metallurgist is responsible to support the Plant Technical Superintendent to optimise and continually improve the concentrating process and metallurgical operation of the plant.
2. Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or NQF4 Equivalent Required
- Metallurgy/Chemical Engineering Degree or NQF 7 Equivalent Required
- MMMA (Mine Metallurgical Managers Association) Registration Required
- 5 Years Metallurgy and Production Experience Required
- Any Postgraduate Production Plant Experience Required
3. Advantageous
- Metallurgy/Chemical Engineering Honours Degree or NQF 8 Equivalent Required
4. Skills and Knowledge
- MS Office (Outlook, Word. Excel, PowerPoint, Projects)
- Knowledge of the best utilization/business applications of plant processing
- Report Writing Skills
- Knowledge of Metal Accounting System
- Mass Balancing Programming
- Statistical Analysis
- Project Management
5. Physical/Legal Requirements
- Fit for Duty/Certificate of Fitness
- Clear Credit/Criminal Record
- Valid Driving License
- MMMA
