Requirements:
|
1. Purpose of Role -The Human Resources Business Partner is to make sure human resource policies and procedures throughout the organisation fit the needs, goals, and aims of the organisation and its top leadership. The Human Resources Business Partner ensures that the HR strategy fits into the organisation’s overall business strategy.
2. Work of Role -To participate and lead the labour planning process during budget time -Ensuring that all jobs are filled on time and ensuring that all the positions are filled according to the approved labour plan -To ensure that all employees understand the performance management system in area of responsibility -To ensure that all employees in area of responsibility have approved KPAs -To ensure that performance evaluations are conducted quarterly -To assist the HRD Department in developing career succession plans in area of responsibility and the implementation of career progression paths and talent management as approved -To ensure that the integrity of the HRIS system is maintained -To ensure implementation of employment equity targets in area of responsibility -To provide support and guidance to the team and managers in area of responsibility -To ensure that all contractors in area of responsibility comply to all SBPM policies and legislative requirements -To ensure that SBPM`s disciplinary and grievance policies are consistently applied and adhered to in order to minimise risk -Ensure compliance with relevant legislations (e.g., LRA, BCEA, EEA, SDA, BBBEE) -To prepare and submit monthly HR reports in the area of responsibility -Manage Human Resources Projects -To lead change management initiatives -To lead the Human Resources Team
3. Qualifications -Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management
4. Experience -Minimum 6 years’ experience in the HR field of which 3 years was in the mining environment
5. Knowledge and Skills -Good verbal and written communication skills (including listening skills) -Business planning and management -Very good and rounded people and networking skills -Ability to handle highly confidential matters -Champion for change
