Requirements:
|
1. Purpose of Role
-The Supply Chain Warehouse Controller is responsible for the efficient co-ordination of smooth flow of material from the mine's main warehouse to the HOPs and end users.
2. Work of Role
-Liaises with customers on urgent and emergency orders
-Ensures Delta system integrity
-Agrees on stock take schedules with supervisor
-Complete audit documentation and findings report
-Assist with binning and stalking of material
-Conducts physical stock counts
-Operates all equipment and vehicles safely and responsibly
-Complies with applicable safety regulations, and NOSA operating practices
-Agrees standard delivery schedules with the supervisor
-Adheres to stores operating procedures, to achieve efficiency in the store. These would include scheduling, receiving, storage, issuing and materials handling processes
-Verifies quality, condition, and correctness of measure of all material received directly from suppliers and from another store
-Ensures effective and accurate issuing of material from stock – including picking, packing, staging and notification of customers
-Keeps records accurately, to ensure integrity of administration systems at the stores
-Assist with queries and action discrepancies
3. Qualifications
-Grade 12
-N6 in Financial Management / Business Management / Management Assistant
4. Experience
-Minimum of 6 – 12 months experience within a materials management environment in a large operation, utilizing supply chain management system
5. Knowledge and Skills
-Valid driver's license
-Relevant Materials Handling Equipment license
-Fully trained and experienced to accept responsibility after a three-month Induction programme
