Requirements:
|
1. Purpose of Role
-The HTS Supervisor plays a critical role in providing and promoting quality client care according to relevant legislation and company policy. The role is responsible for organizing, directing and supervising the activities within the HTS Centre and acknowledging and encouraging subordinates’ performance. The role is responsible for operating and maintaining chamber equipment and keeping record thereof. The role needs to participate in the revision of procedures at operation’s directive.
2. Work of Role
-Apply health, safety, security and housekeeping
-Conduct a continuous risk assessment in the workplace
-Comply with Legal requirements within area of responsibility
-Comply with Company Policies, Standards, Rules and Procedures
-Protect Company assets (working capital & fixed assets)
-Detect and prevent fraud
-Assist in the prevention of theft in HTS department
-Supervise the handling, maintenance and care of chamber equipment
-Ensure that candidates undergoing HTS have passed their medical screening examination as per the relevant Code of Practice on the minimum standard of fitness to perform work at the mine
-Maintain records of employees tested
-Review and validation of documentation
-Review / Compile and submit reports to relevant stakeholders
-Maintain healthy and transparent relationship with management, doctors, colleagues, clients, unions and visitors
-Adhere to confidentiality of candidate information
-Motivate and promote teamwork and team integrity
-Supervise the team, plan, allocate and assess their work
-Support and guide individuals
-Conduct on-the-job coaching
-Promote and sustain professional work ethics
-Participate in revising procedures at company's directive
-Communicate the disaster plan to relevant stakeholders
-Enforce the stipulated procedures and delegate duties at time of disaster
3. Qualifications
-Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4 qualification with English Literacy
-Valid Certificate as a HTS Supervisor
-Valid First Aid Certificate
4. Experience
-Minimum of 2 year’s related experience
5. Knowledge and Skills
-English literate
