Requirements:
1. Purpose of Role
-The Senior Supply Chain Administrator is responsible for the efficient co-ordination of smooth flow of material from the mine's main warehouse to the HOPs and end users.

2. Work of Role
-Liaises with customers on urgent and emergency orders
-Issues fuel and capture consumption information accurately
-Applies correct procedures for issuing of emergency and after-hours orders
-Arranges direct deliveries from main warehouse
-Ensures Delta System integrity
-Agrees on stock take schedules with supervisor
-Performs cycle counts to ensure that system records and stock on hand are always congruent
-Generate and conduct physical stock counts
-Complete audit documentation and findings report
-Assist with binning and stalking of material
-Agrees on standard delivery schedules with customers at operations
-Adheres to Supply Chain operating procedures, to achieve efficiency in the store under the guidance of the Supply Chain Officer / Supply Chain Supervisor These would include scheduling, receiving, storage, issuing and materials handling processes
-Verifies quality, condition, and correctness of measure of all material received directly from suppliers and from the main warehouse
-Return materials where necessary
-Verifies and actions stock transfers between the main warehouse and HOPs
-Ensures effective and accurate issuing of material from main warehouse to the warehouse end-user stock – including picking, packing and notification of customers
-Undertakes good housekeeping practices at the warehouse
-Keeps records accurately, to ensure integrity of administration systems at the HOP’s
-Assistance with queries and action GR/IR discrepancies

3. Qualifications
-National Diploma in Purchasing / Finance / Commerce

4. Experience
-Minimum of 9-12 months materials management and purchasing experience, utilising Delta, or similar system

5. Knowledge and Skills
-Technical competence in material sourcing to specification
-Valid Driver’s License
