Requirements:
|
1. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Mechanical Foreman is responsible to ensure a safe, efficient and productive engineering maintenance through the supervision of a team of artisans on the shaft. This must be done according to regulations and all laws relevant to the tasks.
2. WORK OF ROLE
- Administration of necessary systems
- Assist in long term planning
- Cost of service per ton
- Ensure process remains fully operational
- Equipment availability
- ISO compliance
- Legal compliance
- OSHAS compliance
- Performance efficiencies
- Planned maintenance
- Quantity of delays or disruptions to operations
- Supplier and customer satisfaction
- Technical support to other sections
3. QUALIFICATIONS
• Grade 12
• Trade Certificate
• Law and Standards with Supervisory Courses
4. EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 3 years post trade qualified experience
• Supervisory experience
5. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Valid driving license
• Basic computer literacy (Word/Excel/Outlook, Delta)
• English literate
