Requirements:
|
1. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- This role fulfils a shift role on a shaft and is responsible for the loading of ore on the hoppers in a development end of the mining operation.
2. WORK OF ROLE
- Barring and inspection of work area
- Basic maintenance
- Complete daily loader checklist and report defects
- Ensures installation and operation of required safety devices
- Ensures operational activities and product at ‘Zero Tolerance’ safety compliance
- Identification of external parts
- Installing and adjustment of jump set
- Installing and extending of sliding rail
- Loco signalling system
- Pre-work inspection of work area
- Safe transportation of loader
3. QUAILIFICATIONS
- Grade 10
- Certified competent as a Loader Operator
4. EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2 year’s relevant experience
5. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Certificate of fitness
- Hand Eye coordination
- Not heat sensitive
- Confident in confined spaces
- Dover assessment
