A Diploma or Degree in Food Science or Food Technology, Advanced Culinary Arts, Food Preparation and Cooking, or an equivalent qualification.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in product development, preferably within key account and retail environments.

Proven people management experience.

Strong New Product Development (NPD) background with a demonstrated track record of successful project delivery.

Oversee the Salads, Vegetables, Fruit, and Fresh Juice category product developers.

Drive innovation by developing and upgrading cost-effective, factory-oriented products that support profitable category growth.

Manage the project critical path, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches in line with customer timelines and agreements.

Deliver professional customer presentations that meet and exceed expectations in both product quality and supporting documentation.

Maintain clear and timely communication with customers and internal teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.

Ensure all NPD recipes and documentation are accurately captured, updated, and maintained according to agreed timelines.

Stay informed on local and global market trends, identifying gaps and new opportunities to drive category and business growth.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships, and act as a representative or stand-in for the Produce NPD Manager when required.

Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to Product Development team members to foster growth and excellence.

Attend presentations and customer engagements on behalf of the NPD Managers when needed.

Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and maintain high standards of communication and professionalism.
