Purpose Statement
The BA serves Internal and External customers and attends to their needs in accordance with Nando’s Values and Operation standards.
Minimum Requirements
• Matric or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification • Customer Service experience • Hospitality experience • 1- 2 years of experience in the hospitality sector
Detailed Knowledge:
• Knowledge of Catering (Advanced) • Knowledge of customer service skills (Advanced) • Ability to communicate in English (Intermediate) • Ability to work without supervision • Conflict and complaint resolution skills (Basic) • Ability to manage time (Basic) • Ability to plan ahead of time (Advanced)
Position Description
Customer service and general staff duties: • Ensures customer satisfaction • Receives and escalates customer enquiries, comments and complaints to the manager. • Ensure that the working environment is clean at all times. • Monitors the refreshments inventory is well-stoked • Assists with ad hoc duties, required by the manager when necessary and if trained • Follows Standard Operating Procedures to ensure optimal stock usage • Maintains and follows cleaning procedures to ensure maintenance of the kitchen, bathrooms and appliances • Report all damaged equipment
Compliance, health and safety: • Ensures cleanliness and tidiness of the workstation and/or equipment, while complying to Nando’s operational standards as well as all Nando’s health and safety procedures • Reports on any health and safety violations to the Manager
