Chief Registry Clerk (Medical Records)

Experience:
Appropriate experience in Records (Registry/Archive) environment.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Knowledge of the National Archive Act 43/1996. Knowledge of Labour Relations. Supervisory skills. Good communication skills both written and verbal in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Computer literacy.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Manage the operations within Medical Records efficiently and effectively. Implement and monitor relevant policies and procedures. Responsible for checking all registers on a weekly basis. Manage the destruction of folders and X-Rays. Check the quality of staff members work regularly. Supervise staff in accordance with Human Resources policies and procedures.

Requirements
Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 257 508- R 303 339 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
