Administrative Officer: Support Services

Experience:
Appropriate administrative experience in the following: Supervision, Supply Chain Management, Labour Relations, Human Resources and Facilities Management.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Computer proficiency (intermediate) in Word, Excel, Outlook. Ability to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Problem solving ability.

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Effective and efficient control of the Transport, Telecommunications and Maintenance sections. Effective control and efficient operating of Laundry Unit and Linen Bank. Manage grounds, security services and relevant outsourced service contracts. Ensure effective management of food services units. Perform general supervision and development of support services personnel and support to Medical Manager. Coordinate all HR activities of the West Coast TB Complex.

Requirements
Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence. Willingness to do out of town travelling or stay over.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 257 508 per annum - R 303 339 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
