Appropriate Trade Test Certificate. |

|
Conversant with the Machinery and Occupational Health and Safety Act. Proficiency in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Working knowledge of bricklaying and plastering techniques. Proficiency in erecting of scaffolding. |

Grade A: No experience required. Grade B: At least 18 years appropriate/recognisable experience in the area after obtaining the relevant Trade Test Certificate. Grade C: At least 34 years appropriate/recognisable experience in the area after obtaining the relevant Trade Test Certificate. |

Produce objects with material and equipment according to job specifications and standards. Bricklaying, plastering and repair of plants and buildings according to standards. Manage and assist with the execution of building projects/repairs within the health facility. Exercise control over tools and materials. Administration duties including the processing of requisitions, ordering, control of maintenance materials and equipment. |

Valid (Code B/EB) drivers licence. Willingness to attend to emergencies including after hour repairs and standby duties. |

Remuneration:
|
Grade A: R 190 653-R 211 596, Grade B: R 224 574-R 249 246, Grade C: R 262 176-R 324 708 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
