Administration Clerk: Supply Chain Management (2 posts)

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Administer day-to-day operational tasks related to Asset Management. Receive and issue inventory and distribute items to end users. Constant spot checks with Bi-annual stock takes and assist with input for the preparation for the annual financial statements (Annexure 6-inventory). Update and perform general LOGIS system functions pertaining to Warehousing. Receive and capture manually approved Log1’s (RQCP) Ensure that correct ICN’s and descriptions are used. Ensure that all transactions comply with legislative requirements.
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience in a supply chain environment. Appropriate practical experience of LOGIS/ BAS (All certificates to be attached).

Note:
Only applicants within the Provincial Government Western Cape will be considered for this post. Short-listed candidates may be required to do a competency test as part of the interview process.
 
Minimum educational qualification:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accounting as passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KRA’s) of the post.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Sound theoretical and practical knowledge of Warehouse functions/modules in LOGIS. Applied knowledge of the Accounting Officer System of the Department, IPS and the Western Cape Suppliers Data Base. Problem solving abilities and analytical thinking. Ability to handle a high work volume and meet strict deadlines. Ability to function independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook (e-mail) and LOGIS). Good communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 173 703- R 204 612 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
