Administration Clerk: Finance/Admin (Hospital Fees) (6 posts)

Appropriate experience in a Hospital Fees/Patient Administration environment.
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Computer literacy (Word, Excel) in terms of collating, interpreting and inserting data into a spreadsheet. Excellent written and verbal communication in at least two of three official languages of the Western Cape. Ability to work under pressure with set deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to execute duties accurately and thoroughly. Must be able to work independently or in a team and under supervision.
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Handling of patient account enquiries. Perform all duties associated with the follow up and collection of outstanding accounts. Ensure correctness of patient invoices. Clearing of Interresponsiblity Account and Medscheme accounts. Knowledge how to operate computer hardware. Billing of patient accounts and allocate payments. Handling of state monies.

Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KPA's) of the post.
R 173 703- R 204 612 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
