Excellent verbal and written communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Extensive knowledge of PERSAL. Extensive knowledge of HR Policies, procedures, practices relevant to Establishment and Recruitment and Selection. Extensive knowledge of Establishment Administration and Recruitment and Selection. Computer skills – intermediate to advance (MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint). |

Maintenance and monitoring of the Establishment and compiling submissions for creation/abolishment of posts. Assist in managing the Approved Post List (APL)/HF2 process. Monitor incumbent/post placement appropriateness. Supervision of a Recruitment and Selection function. Maintenance of monthly reports on status of posts, compiling a database of applications and tracking progress of posts advertised. Provide training and monitor SPMS for staff in the unit. Authorization of appointments on PERSAL. |

Remuneration:

R 321 543-R 378 765 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
