Good interpersonal and communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Computer literacy (MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint, e-mail) Relevant knowledge, skills of processes, procedures, prescripts and legislative framework, PFMA, NTR and PTI and the Accounting Officer’s System of the Department of Health, including delegations). In-depth knowledge of SCOA codes and reports on LOGIS and BAS. Working knowledge of ledger accounts. Ability to analyse and provide solutions to problems. Good interpersonal and organisational skills. |

Render an effective and efficient Sundry Payments. Render effective and efficient debt and journal management. Interpret, apply, and ensure compliance of financial policies, regulations, and instructions. Capture transactions on LOGIS and BAS, (including payments and journals). Clearing of assets and liability accounts and processing of petty cash. Effective filing and safekeeping of face value documents and payment batches. |

Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KRA’s) of the post. |
|
|
Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence. |

Remuneration:
|
R 176 310 - R 207 681 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
