An appropriate 3-year Degree/Diploma in the relevant field. |

Appropriate experience in Supply Chain Management and proven Supervisory experience. |

Extensive knowledge of relevant SCM prescripts, departmental instructions, policies and procedures. Computer literate in MS Office (Excel), Word and Powerpoint), IPS. LOGIS, Vulindlela and BAS. Proven ability to work independently in a high pressured environment while complying to due dates. Highly development problem solving and managerial skills. |

Overall management and monitoring of Supply Chain Management (SCM) functions and ensure the effective and efficient application of procurement policies and processes, including Procurement, Demand Management, Acquisition Management, Contract Management, logistics Management, Asset and Disposal Management and the institutionalization of proper SCM practice in the Northern/Tygerberg Sub- structure. Ensure compliance to all relevant acts and prescripts, thereby ensuring audit compliance. Ensure timeous and accurate reporting on SCM information and perform of the Sub- structure. Emotional Intelligence to deal with stressful situations in an ever-changing environment. Responsible for the Human Resource Management of personnel in the SCM, Transport and Support Service components (including Disciplinaries, Grievances and SPMS). |

Remuneration:
|
R 382 245 - R 450 255 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
