Responsible for the effective and efficient management and co-ordination of the finance section (expenditure and revenue). Monitoring of finance reports as well as Annual Financial System and reporting. Management of the Supply Chain Management functions including the administration of tender regulations Compile monthly expenditure reports (IYM). Ensure clearing of Assets and Liabilities Accounts. Compilation of inputs into Financial Statements (AFS). Authorizing of payments and journals in the absence of AOs at institutions. Training of subordinates and new appointees. Travel to the various Engineering institutions within the Western Cape for support and assistance Management of the transport section within the directorate. Management of Loss Control. |

Remuneration:
|
R 321 543-R 378 765 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
