Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Nuclear Medicine Radiographer. |

Grade 1: None after registration with the HPSCA in Radiography (Nuclear Medicine). 1-year relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA in Radiography (Nuclear Medicine) in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform Community Service, as required in South Africa. Grade 2: Minimum of 10 years relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA in Radiography (Nuclear Medicine). Minimum of 11 years relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA in Radiography (Nuclear Medicine) in respect of foreign qualified employees of whom it is not required to perform Community Service as required in South Africa. Grade 3: Minimum of 20 years relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA in Radiography (Nuclear Medicine) in respect of South African qualified employees. Minimum of 21 years relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA in Radiography (Nuclear Medicine). |

Must be able to work with Adults and Paediatric patients. Must be willing to work shifts as determined by the radiography management. |

Produce Nuclear Medicine imaging and laboratory procedures of high standards. Provide optimal patient care. Ensure quality assurance and application of suitable radiation protection. |

Registration with the HPCSA as a Nuclear Medicine Radiographer. |
|
|
The candidate must have thorough knowledge of radiographic techniques, radiation protection, quality assurance and equipment safety. The ability to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape (written and verbal). Computer literacy (MS Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Good interpersonal skills. Experience in PET/CT imaging. Knowledge of use and care of Imaging Equipment. |

Remuneration:
|
Grade 1: R 251 025-R 287 019 (5/8th) per annum, Grade 2: R 295 695-R 338 097 (5/8th) per annum, Grade 3: R 348 312-R 375 240 (5/8th) per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
