Requirement:
An appropriate Degree/ Diploma or equivalent.
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience in Support to Human Resource, Financial Supply Chain, Asset and Facility Management.
 
Note:
Candidates will be subjected to a psychometric evaluation before appointment. No payment of any kind is required when applying for this post. Only officials employed by the Western Cape Provincial Government will be considered for this post.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Effective and efficient management of Human Resource Administration, Recruitment and Selection, Performance Management, Human Resource Development, Labour Relations and Employee Health and Wellness. Effective and efficient Budget Control, management of the expenditure, revenue collection of the OFPI, management of tenders, bids and contracts, implementation of all financial policies and ensure compliance. Effective and efficient management of the Supply Chain Management and Assets within the OFPI. Effective and efficient management of the switchboard and monitor and ensure compliance by the designated security provider. Effective Management of the corporate support staff component. Effective and efficient support to the CEO of the OFPI.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Good communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Good meeting and presentation skills and the ability to liaise between different parties at senior management level. High level computer competency in Microsoft Packages.

Remuneration:
R 382 245- R 450 255 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
