| Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Computer literate MS Office and LOGIS. Ability to work in a co-operative way within a team context with good interpersonal skills. Basic understanding of Disciplinary processes. Knowledge of hospital cleaning and linen. |

| Appropriate Supervisory experience in the hospital environment, Hospital Hygiene and Linen Bank. |

| To provide effective and efficient Administrative and supervisory function to the cleaning staff, Linen Bank staff and Housekeepers. Working closely with the Cleaning Contract manager on site. Promote/adhere to infection control as well as health and safety regulations. Linen Management. Implement and control an effective training program for the staff. Cost effective utilisation of resources and maintain equipment in optimum working condition. Maintain an efficient and effective acquisitioning and provisioning control system in the department. |

| Willingness to be trained and upskilled, and to attend training courses as designated by the hospital. |

Remuneration:

R 176 310 - R 207 681 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
