| Appropriate experience in a hospital fees department. Appropriate Proven Supervision experience (Including acting capacity). Appropriate experience in Clinicom, Accounts Receivable System, BAS (Basic Accounting System), and Logis. |

| Efficient management and effective control of hospital accounts. Perform Accounting functions on BAS and authorising of transactions on Accounts Receivable System and Clinicom. Ensure Audit compliance within the department. Effective control of Petty cash, handling and banking of state monies. Provide Supervision to staff, training, performance assessments and maintain discipline through sound labour practices. |

| Knowledge of Legislations, PFMA Act, DORA Act (Division of Revenue Act), Finance Instructions, Provincial and National regulations. Excellent organisational, time management, problem solving skills with an aptitude for working with figures. Good verbal and written communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Computer literate in Microsoft package with experience in BAS, Accounts Receivable System, Clinicom and LOGIS. |

| Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the key Performance Areas (KPA`s) of the post. |

| Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence. Willingness to work overtime and travel when required. |

Remuneration:

R 261 372 - R 307 890 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
