ADMINISTRATION CLERK: SUPPORT
  Employment Type: Permanent

  Directorate: Specialised Service Support, DRG, Based at Tygerberg Hospital.
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
A valid unendorsed (Code B/EB) driver’s licence. Willingness to travel on a regular basis away from workplace to visit Healthcare Facilities that fall under the Western Cape Department of Health.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Ability to work independently and able to maintain strict confidentiality in performing the duties of the sub-directorate including the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering data, including report writing. Intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Office Applications (MS Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent time management, good organisational and planning skills including ability to operate photocopying, scanner, fax and other basic office equipment. Communication skills (verbal and written) in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
 
Experience:
Appropriate working experience in general administrative support and clerical services. Appropriate experience in data capturing and report writing.

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Provide administrative support to Diagnosis Related Groups (DRGs) including office administration and logistical support. Capture relevant data and perform key functions to ensure data required for DRG coding are comprehensively and accurately recorded in the designated electronic systems. Perform basic data analysis and report writing.
 
Requirement:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent).

Remuneration:
176 310 - 207 681 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
