Appropriate experience in the field of Human Resource Management especially Recruitment and Selection. |

Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, GroupWise and PERSAL). Proficiency in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Knowledge of other HR fields (Employment Contracts, Appointments, Compensation Management). Knowledge and skills of Employment Practices (Recruitment and Selection, Promotions and Employment Equity). Ability to provide training. |

Draft submissions for filling of posts on salary level 2-12 and serve as People Management representative during interviews and short-listing meetings. Scrutinize motivations for procedural and substantive correctness and fairness. Provide training at Institutions when the need arises and provide advice regarding the application of People Management policies and prescripts. Investigate R&S complaints and grievances and provide assistance and advice in respect of conciliations/arbitrations. Control and capture Dot 360, Criminal record- and Financial Asset verifications on a database. Provide outreach to the Establishment Management, SPMS and Grading section. Assist with the management of E-recruitment system. |

Remuneration:
|
R 261 372- R 307 890 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
