Senior Administrative Officer: Information Management..

Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Ability to interpret and analyse health information. Computer literacy (MS Word and Excel). Good leadership abilities and presentation skills. Knowledge of Clinicom, Sinjani, PHCIS, Tier.net, National and Provincial Indicators. Ability to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
 
Minimum educational qualification:
Appropriate 3-year National diploma/degree.
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience in Information Management and Systems.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Delivering and supportive role to the Assistant Director with regards to monitoring and evaluation of Heath Information Systems on District level. Data verification and submission to Provincial: Directorate: Information Management in prescribed format and within set time frames and according to the Information Management Policies. Responsible for identification of health information management training needs within the District and co-ordination of relevant training. Render a supportive function to clinics/hospitals with regard to information systems. Participate and render a supportive function with regards to human resource developmental opportunities.

Inherent requirement of the job:
Valid (Code B/EB) drivers licence. Willingness to travel in the district.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 321 543-R 378 765 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
