Administration Clerk: Human Resource Development and Training

Experience:
Appropriate experience in Human Resource Development and Training (HRD&T) and People Management. Appropriate proven Persal experience.

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Perform all administrative duties pertaining to the personnel section e.g., appointments, service terminations, transfers, pension administration, salary administration, leave, housing. Handle personnel inquiries and correspondence (written and verbal) and filing of personnel data. Maintain register (i.e., PILIR, RWOEE, Appointments and service termination). Assist with skills audit and administer training and development programmes. Provide Secretarial service to HRD&T, Institutional Management and Labour Committee (IMLC). Ensure all data pertaining to training interventions is captured on a register. Assist with co-ordination and submission of Study leave and bursary applications. Assist with the co-ordination of the Youth Development programme which includes Forensic Pathology Assistants, Mortuary Assistants and Admin Interns/Graduate Interns. Provide relief duties as required to other HR Staff members. Support to Supervisor and People Management component.
 
Requirement:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent)
 
Note:
Shortlisted candidates will be subjected to a competency test. No payment of any kind is required when applying for this post. Only officials employed within the Provincial Government: Western Cape will be considered for this post.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Sound knowledge of HRM Policies and Practices, Public Service Regulations, Collective Agreements regarding personnel and salary administration. Computer literacy. Basic knowledge of financial planning and expenditure control, understanding of relevant legislation pertaining to HRD&T. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and work as part of a team and independently as required. Ability to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape of which one must be English.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 176 310- R 207 681 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
