Administrative Officer: Supply Chain Management

Note:
Only officials within the Provincial Government: Western Cape will be considered for this post.
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience in management of security, support service and Supply Chain Management.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Ensure timeous and accurate reporting of financial transactions pertaining to accounting and supply chain management. Assist with effective and efficient Contract and Leases management within the district. Facilitate accurate and credible input into the monthly reporting. Supervision of support services personnel within the Component. Monitoring of security services at facilities and institutions within the district. Assist with effective supervision over the switchboard and front desk. Assist with the procurement of goods and services on behalf of the Sub Structure Office. Maintaining a filling system. General Admin duties.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Knowledge of BAS and LOGIS. Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), National and Provincial Treasury Regulations. The ability to interpret and apply financial policies, procedures, and prescripts. Computer skill: Knowledge of transaction codes and reports on the following systems: - BAS, LOGIS and Microsoft office. Knowledge of GMT prescripts and policies. Financial reporting. Security Monitoring experience.

Minimum educational qualification:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KRA’s) of the post.
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Valid (Code B/EB) drivers licence.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 261 372- R 307 890 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
