Experience:
Appropriate proven supervisory experience in supply chain management and financial management.
 
Minimum educational qualification:
Appropriate three-year National Diploma or Degree.

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Strategic & operational management of the finance, supply chain management, revenue, patient administration, case management and information management functions, within the Stellenbosch sub-district. Administrative support functions related to the Health Facility Board. Perform leadership functions by advising and guiding sub-ordinates. Interpretation and application of directives and policy, planning, budgeting and exercising of control and supervision over activities. Perform quality control and risk management functions. Provide management support to Medical Manager, unit heads and primary health care services.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
uter skills in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Practical working knowledge of LOGIS, BAS and Clinicom/PHCIS is desirable. Strong management and supervisory skills. Ability to work as a team. Thorough knowledge of the PFMA, treasury regulations and government procurement policies and practices. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. The ability to function independently. Excellent time management skills. The ability to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Valid (Code B/EB) drivers’ licence. Willingness to work after hours as required.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 382 245 - R 450 255 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
