Appropriate experience in Finance- and Supply Chain Management. Appropriate experience in the LOGIS/BAS or any computerised system and Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and Outlook), attach proof or mentioned in CV. Must have analytical-, accounting-, numeracy-, interpersonal- and communication skills (verbal, numeracy and written) in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Knowledge of the PFMA, Accounting Officers’ System and Instructions. |

Appropriate experience in Financial Management. |

Expenditure management by processing BAS and LOGIS payments for goods, services, leases and rental contracts, management of creditor’s accounts and remittance of payments. Management of asset and liability accounts, processing of journals and debtor management. Management of petty cash and safekeeping of state money. Maintain effective internal control, including document control, compliance, accurate allocation of SCOA codes and ensuring that payments are payments are processed within 30 days. Procurement of goods and services from transversal contracts and the EPS system according to the prescribed procurement processes. Relief function to manager, supervisor and colleagues when needed. |

Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KRA’s) of the post. |

Valid (Code B/EB) drivers licence. |

Remuneration:
|
R 176 310- R 207 681 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
