Experience:
Appropriate experience in a Finance Department.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Knowledge of Assets and Liabilities accounts. Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act. Knowledge of BAS and knowledge of Persal. Good communication skills (written and verbal) in at least two of three official languages of the Western Cape and Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel).

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Render clerical assistance to the Senior Admin Officer in the Finance Control section. Control, manage and clear various Assets and Liabilities accounts. Allocate Cash Receipts. Capture BAS payments, Journal entries and Debt take on’s. Filing of documentation.
 
Requirements
Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics or Accountancy as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KRA’s) of the post.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 176 310 - R 207 681 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
