Valid (Code B/EB) drivers licence. Willingness to work overtime. |

Ability to interpret and apply financial policies, procedures and prescripts. Extensive knowledge of financial management in the public service, including the legislative framework. Good communication and interpersonal skills in at least two of the three languages of the Western Cape. In depth knowledge of transactions codes and reports on the following systems BAS and LOGIS processes. Computer skills. |

Appropriate experience that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KPAs) of the post. |

|
Identify and correct erroneous expenditure and address a need for training if/when required, timeous clearance of Asset and Liabilities accounts. Effective monitoring of Transfer Payments and support to NPO finance and Programme staff. Ensure effective and efficient compliance with sundry payment regulations. Supervision and staff performance management of finance clerks within NTSS finance section. Provide documented information pertaining to budget related matters on request from the SAO and ASD. Conduct regular visits to District Hospital and facilities to Monitor and Evaluate Revenue. |

Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KPAs) of the post. |

Remuneration:
|
R 257 508- R 303 339 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
