Conversant with the requirements of the machinery and Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993). Ability to speak in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Computer literacy. |

A valid (Code B/EB) drivers licence. Willing to perform standby duties when necessary and attend to emergency breakdowns after hours. |

Appropriate Trade Test Certificate. |

Ensure an effective plumbing service to the institution. Responsible for new installations. Repairs and standby duties. Render assistance to supervisor and colleagues. |

|
Grade A: No experience required. Grade B: At least 18 years appropriate/recognisable experience in the area after obtaining the relevant Trade Test Certificate. Grade C: At least 34 years appropriate/recognisable experience in the area after obtaining the relevant Trade Test Certificate. |

Remuneration:
|
Grade A: R 190 653- R 211 596 per annum, Grade B: R 224 574-R 249 246 per annum, Grade C: R 262 176-R 324 708 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
