| Appropriate and proven experience in Supply Chain Management with emphasis on Contract Management. Appropriate proven supervisory experience in the Health Facilities. |

| Good computer literacy skills in (MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Good knowledge of Contract Management within a Government Department (Bid Committees; Transversal Tenders; LOGIS, BAS, and sound knowledge of applicable policies (PFMA, AO system and Treasury Regulations). Sound knowledge of Supply Chain Management policies and processes. |

| Good written and communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence and willingness to travel. |

| Manage and co-ordinate the Supply Chain Management functions pertaining to Contract Management at institutional and facility level. Advertise, award, and manage contracts and tenders and plan, implement, and maintain financial control and handle audit queries. Responsible for internal controls and compliance in Supply Chain Management. Render support function to management in terms of expenditure and control of Capital Assets and Contract Management. Manage all Human Resource Management and related functions within the Supply Chain Management and Support components. |

| Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KRA 's) of the post. |
