| Ability to execute duties accurately and thoroughly. Effective communication in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Competent in MS Word and Excel. Knowledge and exposure to the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Regulations, Supply Chain Management and Financial Instructions. Knowledge of LOGIS (Logistical Information System) and E-Procurement System would be advantageous. |

| Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject and /or Senior Certificate with experience / competencies that focus on the Key Performance Areas (KRA’s) of the post. |

| Timeous procurement of goods and services according to prescripts and policies. Regular follow-up on outstanding orders. Ensure audit compliance with regard to orders. Assistance with administration, regarding Contracts Management. File source documents. Handle telephonic and written enquiries from suppliers (companies) and user departments. Display the core values of the Department of Health, Western Cape Government. |

Remuneration:

R 181 599-R 213 912 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
