A job opportunity exists for the right candidate in Western Cape

Administrative Officer: Support Services (Infrastructure and Equipment) (Contract post for 6 months)

Inherent requirement of the job:
Valid driver’s licence. Willingness to travel. Ability to communicate in at least 2 of the 3 official languages of the Western Cape.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Report on building/ project work progress. Monitor and report on departmental budgeting and procurement expenditure control. Liaise with professional, technical, and other officials. Planning and installations: Report on planning and design of new installations and alterations. Scheduling of projects. Advise with compilation of specifications and tenders. Administrative duties: Prepare minutes of meeting. Generate reports. Highlight outliers, respond appropriately, and escalate when required on items such as soft facility management. Report on challenges at Bellville Health Park maintenance.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Proven computer literacy (MS Office). Written and verbal communication. Record keeping. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to work independently and in a team.

Requirements Minimum educational qualification:
Grade 12 or equivalent.
 
Note:
Candidates will be subjected to a practical examination to test computer literacy before the appointment. No payment of any kind is required when applying for the post.
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience in Administrative; Project management; Relevant systems; Projects in the build environment.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 294 321 - R 343 815 per annum Annual salary plus 37% in lieu of service benefits.
