Administrative Officer: Information Management

Experience:
Appropriate experience in Health Information Management Systems.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Co-ordinate health information management activities including data verification and submission in prescribed format within set time frames. Training of staff at all levels in health information management practices. Monitoring and evaluation including producing reports of service outputs against national and provincial norms. Conduct and assist with audits at facility level. Supervision and staff performance management.
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Good communication and interpersonal skills in at least two of the three languages of the Western Cape. Valid (Code B/EB) drivers’ licence. Willingness to work overtime.

Requirements Minimum educational qualification:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Working knowledge and experience in Health Information Systems (SINJANI, PHCIS, IDEAL CLINIC, MONITORING SYSTEM, EVDS, SPV, Tier.Net, EDR web and DHIS); and advance computer skills in MS Office. Good leadership and supervisory skills. Ability to interpret, analyze and present health information.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 294 321 - R 343 815 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
