| An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/Degree. |

| Appropriate experience in a risk environment. |

| Conduct a comprehensive risk assessment and formulate a risk management strategy for the GSH/UCT environment. Implement a short-term to medium-term plan to address identified areas of risk within specific timeframes. Formulation of a register for financial and non-financial risk that would be applicable for the GSH/UCT environment. Monitor the capturing of data for qualitative and quantitative purposes and ensure that the information is utilised appropriately to take management decisions. Review the implementation of all policies, procedures, SOPs and SLAs and report on compliance/non-compliance to delegated authorities. Assist with in depth review and implementation of the major incident plan. |

| Excellent written and communication skills. Proficiency in planning, co-ordinating and implementing patient and staff safety procedures. Familiar with all state and federal compliance regulations and standards. |

Remuneration:
|
|
R 424 104 - R 496 467 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
