| Good organizational, managerial, leadership skills, an aptitude for working with financial figures with strong people management skills, ability to work in a team context and motivate team members. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of PFMA, Finance instructions, Provincial and National Treasury regulations, Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act 5 of 2000 (PPPFA) as well as Accounting Officer System. |

| Responsible for overall management of all Supply Chain Management functions. Responsible for Inventory Control warehouse management and asset management processes. Accurate and timeous preparation of reports and assist with the compilation of the Interim and Annual Financial Statements. Supervise the clearance of Asset and Liabilities accounts, Sundry payments, Budgeting vs expenditure and timeous preparation of relevant reports. Authorization of BAS / Logis payments when required. Effective and efficient supervision of Financial Management processes such as creditor payments, journals, SCOA and BMI management. Effective utilization of human resources. |

| Valid (Code B/EB) driver's licence. Willingness to travel and work extra hours. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. |

Remuneration:

R 359 517 per annum - R 420 402 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
