| Grade 2: Minimum of 3 years experience after registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as Emergency Care Technician (ECT). Grade 3: Minimum of 3 years experience after registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as a Paramedic. Grade 4: Minimum of 3 years experience after registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as Emergency Care Practitioner (ECP). |

Grade 4: Successful completion of the B-Tech Degree that allows registration with the HPCSA as a Emergency Care Practitioner (ECP). |

| Provide an effective and efficient pre-hospital emergency care service. Coordinate and support the EMS clinical governance programme across the province. Management and co-ordination of all quality improvement initiatives, training and practices. Provide effective clinical Leadership, mentoring and professional development within the service. Manage and coordinate equipment planning for the EMS. Maintain responsibility for the audit compliance with regards to Financial Management and Supply Chain Management matters. Promotion of collaborative clinical care networks through forging sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Effective communication and liaison function regarding EMS matters. Effective support towards the manager medical services. |

Remuneration:

Grade 2: R 508 896 per annum, Grade 3: R 565 179 per annum, Grade 4: R 625 089 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
