Groundsman
  Employment Type: Permanent

  Forensic Pathology Service: Head Office
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience in groundmans duties and handling of power tools. Appropriate experience in minor repairs. Appropriate experience in electrical/Fuel Garden equipment. Appropriate experience in logging of calls on the Engineering Portal.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Assist with minor repairs in an outside of building. Cleaning and maintaining grounds. Filing and recording of maintenance request. Reporting of maintenance to Engineering. Reporting of defective equipment. An effective support to the supervisor of the Component. Required to perform groundsman functions.
 
Competencies (Knowledge/skills):
Basic Computer literate (i.e. MS Office package,). Ability to work independently.
 
Requirement:
Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
 
Inherent requirements of the job:
Good verbal and written communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.

Remuneration:
R 125 373 - R 145 077 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
