Note:
Only officials within the Provincial Government: Western Cape will be considered for this post. Shortlisted candidates will be expected to undergo the following assessments: Oral interview and/or practical assessment.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Administration of Skills Development portfolio: handling of training needs analysis and skills audits, assisting with the compilation of the Workplace Skills Plan, assisting the training committee with meeting logistics and drafting monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc training reports on training implemented. Arrange training logistics such as venue bookings and capturing of stats for non-clinical skills development programmes, as well as PSI/CIP programmes. Assist with coordination of the bursary administration function. Ensure compliance with relevant skills development and related legislation and policies. Co-ordinate the logistics and provide minute-taking duties for the Skills Development Component and Training Committee meetings and other related meetings.
 
Experience
Appropriate experience in the HRD Field.
 
Competencies (Knowledge/Skills)
Computer literacy (MS Word, advanced Excel and PowerPoint). Ability to function as a team player, with or without supervision. Ability to function under stressful environment and cope with a heavy workload. Project management knowledge and capabilities. Appropriate planning and administration skills. Understanding of the Human Resource function. Knowledge of the Human Resource Development Legislation and Policies.

Inherent requirement of the job:
Proficiency in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Valid Code B/EB driver’s license.
 
Minimum educational qualification:
Senior certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent).
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 202 233-R 235 611 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
