Competencies (Knowledge/skills):
Advance computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel and MS Office. Ability to work under pressure. In-depth knowledge of management and administrative processes in the Public Service. Knowledge of the Western Cape provincial health service. The ability to perform a detailed and critical analysis of the performance of the healthcare. and social service and propose constructive interventions for improvement. Relevant work experience in both the public & private sector. Knowledge of the National Health Insurance. Leadership abilities.
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience with public-private sector engagements.
 
Requirement:
Appropriate three-year National Diploma or Degree.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Management and strategic support and oversight of projects and proposals (PPIs and PPPs). Coordinate the compilation and provide technical assistance of monthly, quarterly midterm and annual reports for Department submission on behalf of the directorate. Management of staff. Assist with the development of policies, guidelines, protocols and tools necessary to guide. resources forecasting, prioritization, implementation and monitoring of the directorate. Conduct regular situational analyses in respect of both the Department of Health and the Business Development directorate.

Inherent requirement of the job:
Valid (Code B/EB) drivers licence. Willingness to travel.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 424 104-R 496 467 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
