Administration Clerk: Finance/Admin (Asset Management)

Experience:
Appropriate Supply Chain Management experience in an Asset Management environment. -Appropriate LOGIS experience.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook). -Knowledge of Supply Chain Management processes. -Knowledge of the Asset Management Framework, Provincial Treasury Instructions, and National Treasury Regulations.
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Good verbal and written communication skills.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Maintain and update Asset Register. -Procurement of Assets and services adjudicated, ensure all transactions comply with the legislative requirements. -Manage Asset movement, inventory update and barcoding. -Undertake Interim Financial and Annual Financial Stock takes, reporting of losses, theft, shortages and surpluses. -Ensure Disposals of all Assets pertaining to SCM policies & procedures. -Compile the monthly, IFS and AFS reporting.

Requirements Minimum Educational Qualification:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KPA's) of the post.

Remuneration:
R 216 417 per annum - R 254 928 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
