|
Appropriate experience working as a Carer in a Healthcare setting. |
|
|
Assisting with basic needs of patients. Cleaning of equipment. Effective and efficient utilization of equipment stock and equipment. Do regular rounds to high-risk patients with a potential for falling. Assist nurses in lifting and turning patients when necessary. Effective record keeping of activities. |
|
|
Between the age of 18 – 35. Ability to lift patients. Willingness to work shifts. |
|
|
General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)/Grade 9 (Std 7), NQF Level 1/2/3/4 Ancillary Health Care certificate (HWSETA) or Accreditation Home Base Care certificate. |
|
|
Good interpersonal relations with supervisor, colleagues, and the public. Ability to function in a group. Good communication skills. |

No payment of any kind is required when applying for this post. The pool of applicants will be considered for similar vacant posts within the Garden Route District for a period of 3 months from date of advert. |
